Bumrah lost the top spot, South Africa’s Rabada is the number one bowler in Test Cricket

Jashpreet Bumrah was at the top of the ICC rankings in Tests. The Indian bowler lost that place. Now, Kagiso Rabada,is the number one Test bowler. He took 9 wickets in the Mirpur Test against Bangladesh. That success took him to the top.

Rabada topped Test bowlers in 2018. Since then he has been in the top ten. Rabada has also climbed three places above Australia’s Jos Hazlewood and India’s Ravichandran Ashwin. Bumrah has been dropped to third place. Hazlewood came in second place. Ashwin has also gone down two steps. He is dropped from second place to fourth place. Pat Cummins was fourth. He is dropped to fifth place. Apart from Bumrah and Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja is among the Indians in the top ten. He is ranked eighth.

Joe Root holds the top spot among batsmen in Tests. Kane Williamson is second. Jaiswal came in third place. Harry Brook dropped to fourth place. Steve Smith in fifth place. Apart from Jaiswal, no Indian batsman is in the top ten in Tests. Rishabh Pant is dropped to number 11. Virat Kohli is dropped six places to number 16. Rohit Sharma is dropped nine steps to number 24.
