The fifth and final Test match of the Border-Gavaskar (BGT) series between India and Australia is being played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney. Today is the second day of the match. Yesterday was the first day of the match and a total of 11 wickets fell. Team India was all out for 185 runs on the first day. While Australia's score was 9/1 by the end of the day. Opener Usman Khawaja was dismissed in the last ball of the day for 2 runs. He was dismissed LBW by Bumrah. Sam Constas returned unbeaten on 7 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah had a heated altercation with young opener Sam Constas before stumps. Immediately after this discussion, Bumrah showed Usman Khawaja (2 runs) the way to the pavilion. As soon as Khawaja got out, the umpires ended the day's play.
Earlier, India scored 185 runs with the help of Pant (40 runs), Ravindra Jadeja (26 runs), Captain Bumrah (22 runs) for Team India. Scott Boland took the most 4 wickets from Australia. While Mitchell Starc got 3 wickets. Captain Pat Cummins took 2 wickets. So Nathan Lyon got 1 wicket. Today the Indian bowlers will enter the field with the preparation of counter attack on the Australian bowlers. Team India's bowlers will try to all out the Kangaroo batsmen as soon as possible.
Earlier, India won the toss and decided to bat. Jasprit Bumrah is captaining Team India in place of Rohit Sharma at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Rohit Sharma has been rested.
