I don't have sandpaper…: Virat Kohli shows Australian fans empty pockets in Sydney; Reminiscent of ball tampering scandal, video goes viral

Virat Kohli tried to tease the Australian fans by hinting at the 'sandpaper style' ball-tampering scandal at the Sydney Cricket Ground. In fact, on the third day of the Sydney Test, Virat Kohli was captaining the field in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and the spectators started shouting at the sight of Virat.

The Australian team used sandpaper to tamper with the ball during the match to help them reverse swing and this was caught on camera, leading to the bans of Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft.

Rohit Sharma dropped himself from the fifth Test after admitting his poor form, while Virat Kohli played in Sydney, but failed in both innings.

Virat Kohli has scored 190 runs at an average of 23.75 in five Test matches. He scored 7 and 11 in Adelaide, 3 in his only innings in Brisbane, 36 and 5 in Melbourne and 17 and 6 in Sydney, scoring just 95 in his last four Tests. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma scored only 31 runs in three Test matches.
