Siddharth Desai became the best bowler for Gujarat, who created a stir by taking 9 wickets in one innings in the match being played at Gujarat College, Ahmedabad. Had he taken one wicket of Uttarakhand's Harsh Patwal, Siddharth would have taken all 10 wickets in an innings.

Best performance for Gujarat Siddharth Desai has now become the best bowler for Gujarat. He broke Rakesh Dhruv's previous record among Gujarat bowlers. Let us tell you that in 2012 Dhruv took 8 wickets by giving 31 runs against Rajasthan.
In Ranji Trophy history, only Haryana's Anshul Kamboj (10/49 Vs Kerala, 2024) and Mumbai's Ankit Chavan (9/23 Vs Punjab, 2012) have performed better than Siddharth Desai.
Career of Siddharth Desai Siddharth has played 36 First Class and 20 List A matches in his career so far. Bowling in 48 first-class innings, he has taken 159 wickets at an average of 26.26. Also, in 20 List-A innings, Siddharth took 25 wickets at an average of 31.60. While batting, he scored 410 runs in First Class and 10 runs in List A.
