Wrestling Association shifts again to Brijbhushan Sharan's home: Address on website is somewhere else, says WFI president Sanjay Singh – Office only in Harinagar

The office of Wrestling Federation of India has again shifted to its old address i.e. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's residence at 21, Ashoka Road, Delhi without notice. In 2023, the issue of running the wrestling federation's office from home gained momentum after women wrestlers accused former WFI president Brijbhushan Singh. After which the office of WFI was shifted to a rented house in Hari Nagar.

According to Indian Express, WFI's office has been shifted to 21 Ashoka Road since June last year. The house is now in the name of his MP son. While the Hari Nagar address is still there on the WFI website. At the same time, WFI president Sanjay Singh has said that the office is only in Hari Nagar.

According to the newspaper, the property advisor's office is at the website address. Nearby tenants said that WFI had moved from here to Ashoka Road a few months back. After WFI came here, a couple of office staff came here with computers and some files. He used to come here sometimes and sometimes some people would also come to meet him. But within a few months WFI left. There was a WFI board at the entrance of the building. There is no board here anymore.

In 2024, a board of WFI was installed in the office at Harinagar.

In 2025, the board of WFI was removed from the Harinagar office.

The women wrestlers filed a complaint at the Connaught Place police station on 21 April 2023 On April 21, 2023, letters containing the names of 6 persons were received addressed to the SHO of Connaught Place, New Delhi. Among these 6 names were names of many famous wrestlers. All these complainants had accused then WFI president Brijbhushan Sharan Singh and his secretary Vinod Tomar of sexual harassment.

In these complaint letters, sexual harassment was mentioned on different occasions over the last 8 to 9 years. Later, a case was registered against Brijbhushan Singh. Even now, the matter is being heard in the court.

Brij Bhushan said, the office is running in Harinagar, the search for a new place is on Former president of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and former MP from Kaisarganj Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has clarified the position on the ongoing dispute over the office of the wrestling association. He said that currently the office of WFI is located in Harinagar, where a new location is being sought due to lack of space.

The former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president refused to move the WFI office to the MP's house.
