Jasprit Bumrah may go to New Zealand to get treatment for his back. BCCI's medical team is in touch with New Zealand doctor Rowan Schouten. Bumrah will be sent to New Zealand if required. However, BCCI has not yet said anything about Bumrah's fitness.
The medical team will share Bumrah's report with the New Zealand doctor. A decision about his playing in the Champions Trophy will be taken based on his feedback. Schouten has already operated on Bumrah's back in 2023.
Bumrah included in the 15-member Indian squad Bumrah has been named in the 15-member squad for the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan and UAE from February 19 next month. He has also been included in the squad for the last match of the three-match home series against England.
