Dinesh Karthik has recently left MS Dhoni in the list of the highest scorers in the T20. The former Indian wicketkeeper-batter was surprised to know that he recently achieved this feat during the South African T20 League SA20.
Talking to the media on Sunday, Karthik said, “It is a pleasure to know that I have left Dhoni (Mahi) behind, but very soon he will leave me behind.”
Karthik is the first Indian to play in SA20. He scored 144 runs in 11 matches while playing for Parl Royals in the third season of the recently expired league. During this period, he surpassed his former colleague Dhoni in the list of players scoring the highest scorer in T20 cricket.

He further said, I am very happy that I left Dhoni behind, but very soon he will leave me behind. If they do that, I don't really matter. I am glad that this record (the highest run as a wicketkeeper) has been with him. I do not even know what this record is that is being talked about. Also, it was a pleasure to know about it. But it's not something I want I really want.
