Australia's Matthew Kuhneman's Bowling Action Legal: ICC passes bowling test, can bowl in international cricket

The ICC has released Australia's left -hand spinner Matthew Kuhneman from allegations of illegal bowling action. Now he will be able to bowl again in international cricket. He gave a test in Queensland last week, and the ICC approved it on February 26 for a test.

The bowling action of Kuhneman was found suspicious during the Test series against Sri Lanka in January this year. He was accused of diverting elbows more than 15 degrees while bowling, which is against the ICC bowling rules. Nevertheless, he bowled and took 16 wickets in 2 Tests. Australia won the series 2-0.

The proceedings were investigated in Queensland The bowling of the Kuhanman was investigated at Brisban's National Cricket Center. During the test, he was asked to bowl at the same speed at which he bowled during the second test at Gale. During this time he wore markers on his body and had many high-speed cameras and 3-D motion analysis systems around it.

The ICC expert team saw that the angle of his elbow was in accordance with the rules while bowling. After which he was allowed to play international cricket again.

Kuhneman has taken 25 wickets in 5 Tests for Australia.

Kuhneman played 5 Tests and 4 ODIs Met has played 124 professional matches after first-class debut in 2017. It will debut ODI in 2022 and Test in 2023. He then played 5 Tests and 4 ODIs for Australia. He has taken 25 wickets in the Test and 6 in ODIs.

He also debuted in the Big Bash League in 2018. He has played 55 matches in BBL so far. This is the first time in eight -year professional cricket when the left -hand spinner Kuhneman's bowling action has been questioned.
