Rohit becomes the first captain to reach all the ICC finals: Better to hit the highest six, Virat's 8,000 runs in run chase; Match records

India beat Australia by 4 wickets in the first semifinal of the Champions Trophy. Due to Steve Smith's fifty at Dubai Stadium, the kangaroos targeted 265 runs. In reply, the team won with Virat Kohli's 84 runs.

Tuesday was a record day in the name of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Rohit became the first captain to reach the final of all ICC tournament. Kohli completed 161 catches in ODIs. Rohit is the highest scorer batsman at ICC ODI events. Virat completed 8,000 runs while chasing in ODIs.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma became the highest batsman at ICC ODI events. He has now hit 65 sixes in 42 innings. He pushed West Indies' Chris Gayle back, scoring 64 sixes in 51 innings.

3. Virat completed 8 thousand runs while chasing in ODIs

Virat Kohli completed his 8,000 runs while batting in the second innings of ODIs. He now has 8063 runs in 166 matches. Sachin Tendulkar is the first on the list, with 8720 runs in 236 matches.

Virat Kohli became the highest score of 50+ in the ICC ODI tournament. He has scored more than 50 runs 24 times in 53 matches. Virat broke Sachin's 23 Fifty+ run record.
