Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will not play the opening match of IPL-20125. It is under Rehab at the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru.
Bumrah's medical report is okay. He has resumed the bowling at COE. He will join the team in the first week of April. But this is necessary to get a fitness certificate from the NCA's medical team. By then the Mumbai team will have played 3 matches.

Mi's first 2 match on Away Ground IPL-20125 will start in Kolkata on March 22. The first match of this season will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Mumbai will launch its campaign against Chennai Super Kings on March 23 against Chennai. He will then play against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad on March 29.
The first domestic match of Mi will be against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 31. The team will then play against Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow on April 4 and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Mumbai on April 7.
