Rajasthan's brilliant bowling defeated Punjab first: Royals won by 50 runs, Yashwashi's fifty; 3 wickets to Archer

Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings on the basis of brilliant bowling. Rajasthan lost 4 wickets at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium in Mullanpur. In reply, the Punjab team was able to score only 155 runs by losing 9 wickets.

Rajasthan landed to defend a target of 206 and lost 2 wickets in the first over of Jofra Archer. He made Bold out of Priyanka Arya on the first ball and captain Shreyas Iyer on the sixth ball. His bowling pushed Punjab Kings backfoot. Archer eventually sent Arshadeep Singh to the pavilion.

  • Yashwashi Jaiswal: Yashwashi gave a strong start to Rajasthan, who was batting first after losing the toss. He scored his first fifty in the season. He was dismissed for 67 with the help of 3 fours and 5 sixes.

Nehal Vadhera from Punjab played 62 runs. He also made a 88 -run partnership for the fifth wicket with Glenn Maxwell. As long as Vadhera was on the field, Punjab looked close to victory. As soon as Vadera was out, the team was dispersed and could not complete the target.

4. The Turning Point

Chasing a target of 206 runs, Punjab lost his first four wickets for 43 runs. The team was able to handle in the middle overs that he lost 15 wickets by scoring 151 runs from 131 runs. Losing a continuous wicket proved to be the biggest turning point of the defeat of Punjab.

Batting first, Royals started a strong start with Yashwi and Captain Sanju Samson. The two together made an 89 -run opening partnership. Samson was dismissed for 38 runs. After that, Ryan Parag scored 43 and Yashwashi Jaiswal scored 67 runs to score 205 runs.

Punjab was very bad against the big target. The team lost 2 wickets in the first over. The team lost 2 more wickets to reach 43 runs.
