Gambhir's remark

The BCCI has removed three coaching staff members after the leak of Team India's 1-3 defeat and dressing room in the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). In addition to assistant coach Abhishek Nair, it includes fielding coach T Dilip and trainer Soham Desai. However, it has not been officially confirmed by the BCCI.

According to media reports, no one will be appointed in place of Nair because Sitanshu Kotak is already associated with Team India as a batting coach. Dilip's work will be seen by Assistant Coach Ryan Ten Dochet.

Adrian Lee will replace the trainer Soham Desai Trainer Soham Desai will be replaced by Adrian Lee Roo, who is currently associated with Punjab Kings in IPL. He was also with the KKR team from 2008 to 2019. He also worked with Team India from 2002 to 2003. He has contracted with BCCI.

Dilip and Soham were with the Indian team for more than three years. However, Abhishek Nair joined the team only 8 months ago.

What Gambhir said in the dressing room during BGT leaked During the BGT, after the defeat in the Melbourne Test, Gautam Gambhir, the chief coach of the Indian team, expressed his displeasure over the performance of the players. Immediately after returning to the dressing room, he told the whole team that it was a lot now. Gambhir also expressed his displeasure over the false shot selection of the players. Without naming anyone, he said that players who make excuses for playing a natural game have to play according to the situation.

Gambhir's statement was leaked. Gambhir then said that the conversation between players and coaches should only be limited to the dressing room. It should not come out. Gambhir also denied reports of stress in the dressing room and said that these are just reports and there was no truth.

BGT: India won the first Test, one draw and three lost to Australia India lost the Border Gavaskar series 3-1. The first match of the series was played in Perth. India won the match by 295 runs. The Australian team then made a comeback and beat India by 10 wickets in the second Test played in Adelaide. The third match played in Bisbray was a draw. Australia beat India by 184 runs in the fourth match played in Melbourne. Australia also won the last match played in Sydney by 6 wickets.

Bad display of two major batsmen from India Rohit and Kohli Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, two top batsmen from India, proved to be the biggest weakness. Kohli scored 190 in 9 innings in BGT, including an unbeaten century. However, Rohit was only able to score 31 runs in 5 innings. The Indian team could not cross 200 in the 9 innings of the series 6 times.
