Cricket Australia spoke on IPL: Depending on whether players want to play; League will resume from May 17

Cricket Australia (three) has said that after the IPL resumes, it depends on the players whether they want to return to India for the IPL.

On May 9, the BCCI postponed the league for a week due to India-Pakistan tension. The BCCI postponed the tournament, saying that the country is currently in a state of war. In this case, the cricket tournament is not appropriate. There are still 16 IPL matches, including the final. The tournament will resume on May 17.

Cricket Australia stands with the decision of the players Cricket Australia has said it is standing with the players. “Cricket will support their personal decisions on whether Australia wants to return to India, while team management will work on preparing for the World Test Championship Finals for players who choose to play in the rest of IPL matches.”

New schedule of IPL revealed The BCCI has announced a resume IPL on May 12 and also announced a new schedule. According to the schedule, the IPL match will be played again from May 17. The remaining 13 matches of the league stage will be played in 6 places.

The playoff stage will be played from May 29, and the final will be played on June 3. The match will be played on May 17 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. IPL-2025 will resume on May 17. On May 10, both India and Pakistan announced the ceasefire.
