Sattvik-Chirag in the semifinals of the Singapore Open Badminton: defeated the world's number-1 in 39 minutes; Tomorrow will collide with Soh-Chia

The Indian pair of Satvikasiraj Rankirade and Chirag Shetty entered the men's doubles semifinals of the Singapore Open Super 750 Badminton Tournament on Friday. The pair defeated Malaysia's world number one pair Goh Se Fei and Noor Iszuddin in a straight game in a 39 -minute match.

The Indian pair, which has been struggling with fitness for the last few weeks, showed strong rescue in the quarter-final match and won 21-17, 21-15 with excellent use of the net. In the semifinal match, the Indian pair will face third -seeded Malaysian pair Wi Soh and A Chia. The match will start at 7:30 pm.

Satvik-Chirag in the third semifinal of the season This is the third semifinal of this season for the Indian pair. Earlier this year, they also reached the Malaysia and India Open in the last four phases. Sattvik and Chirag's former world number one pair had earlier a 6-2 win-a-won record against the Malaysian pair. However, the Goh-Noor pair defeated Satvik and Chirag in the previous match between the two pairs.

Sattvik's smash got the lead From the beginning of the match, the two pairs were trying to dominate each other, which led to the score of 7-7 in the first game. The Indian pair with the magnificent service of Satvik got a three -point lead at a break.

The Indian pair maintained pressure and got a 15-11 lead. The Malaysian pair tried to make a comeback but there was no answer to Satvik's powerful smash. The Indian pair had three matches points and Goh hit a return shot net.
