World No.1 Sabalenka reached the French Open final for the first time: defending champion Swiatech thrown out, will face Goff in the title match

World No.1 player Arya Sabalenka has made it to the French Open final. She defeated four-time champion Iga Switech 7-6 (1), 4-6, 6-0 in a women's singles semifinal match played on Thursday.

Sabalenka has reached the title match of this Grand Slam for the first time. At the same time, this is its total sixth Grand Slam final. In the final, Sabalenka will face the world's No. 2 American player Coco Goff. Both of these players will clash against each other for the first time in the women's Grand Slam final.

Iga Swiatech is the last three consistent French open champions.

Gauf beat Boisen Coco Goff entered the final after beating the French Wild Card Lois Boison 6-1, 6-2. Goff has also reached the final of the French Open for the first time. The 21 -year -old American player will play his second Grand Slam final after the US Open (2023).

Sabalenka defeated Zheng in the quarterfinals On Tuesday, Sabalenka defeated Paris Olympic champion Kinven Zheng 7-6 (3), 6-3 in the quarterfinals. Four-time French Open winner Iga Swiatech defeated Elina Switolina of Ukraine 6-1, 7-5.

Men's singles semifinals today The men's singles semifinals will be played tonight. In the first match, defending champion Carlos Alkarez will face Italy's Lorenzo Mussetti. In the second match, 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Yokovic will face the world's No.1 Genic Sinner Saw.
