West Indies wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas has retired from international cricket. He made this decision at the age of 29. Puran is the highest scorer in the T20 international match for West Indies.

He gave this information from an emotional post on Instagram. He said that making this decision was very difficult, but he made this decision after much thought.

He played the last ODI for the West Indies in July 2023 against Sri Lanka. At the same time, he played the last T20 international match against Bangladesh in December 2024.

2,275 runs in 106 T20 International matches The flood played 61 ODIs and 106 T20 matches for the West Indies. In 61 ODIs, he scored an average of 39.66 and 1983 at a strike rate of 99.15. He scored 11 half centuries and 3 centuries in this format. He also represented the West Indies in the 2019 World Cup.

Puran has never had a chance to play a Test match during his international career. After retiring from international cricket, he will now be seen playing in the T20 league around the world.

However, he returned shortly and led the team. Under his captaincy, the West Indies beat Australia 4-1. In 2022, he was made captain of the White-Ball team.
