The Women's World Cup schedule is announced, Indo-Pakistan match on October 5: The tournament will begin on September 30, India is planning it after 12 years.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a schedule of women's ODI World Cup 2025. Accordingly, teams from India and Pakistan will clash against each other on October 5. The match will be played at R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo. The tournament will begin on September 30, 2025.

Although India has been given host rights to the tournament, it is difficult for the Pakistani team to come to India, due to the Operation Sindur launched by India after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. In this case, it has been decided to hold the match in Colombo.

Prior to the Champions Trophy, the BCCI and PCB agreed to play in a neutral place before the ICC. India is going to host the Women's World Cup for the first time after 12 years. India last got the Women's World Cup in 2013.

28 league matches will be played in 5 places In this tournament, 28 league matches and three knockout matches will be played in five places at Bengaluru, Indore, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam and Colombo.

The first semifinal will be played in Guwahati or Colombo on October 29 (depending on the arrival of Pakistan) and the second semifinal will be played in Bengaluru on October 30. The final will be played in Bengaluru or Colombo on November 2.

On the Sri Lanka Hybrid model for all matches in Pakistan All Pakistan matches in Sri Lanka will be played on the hybrid model. According to the hybrid agreement between the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Pakistan team will play all its matches in Colombo. These include matches against Bangladesh (October 2), England (October 15), New Zealand (October 18), South Africa (October 21) and Sri Lanka (October 24).

After this, they will face Pakistan in Colombo on October 8. Australia and England will clash against each other in Indore on October 22.

Pakistan qualified for the World Cup by taking first place in the qualifier in Lahore at the beginning of the year.

The format of the 2025 tournament will be the same as 2022 The format of the 2025 tournament will be the same as 2022, with eight teams playing together in a round-robin format and the top four teams will reach the semifinals. In addition to host India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka qualified directly. The last two places Pakistan and Bangladesh were acquired in the qualifier held in Lahore earlier this year. Not part of the West Indies tournament, they lost to Bangladesh in qualifier on the basis of net run-rate.
