5 Factors behind India's defeat in Leeds Test: Both of the middle order batters fell in both innings, Jadeja-Thakur can take 3 wickets

Factors-1: Middle- Lower order failure

The Indian team's middle order and lower middle order collapsed in both innings. In the first innings, the Indian team lost the last 6 wickets for just 41 runs. In the second innings, the last 5 batters returned to the pavilion within 31 runs.

In the first innings, Karun Nair Zero, Ravindra Jadeja 11 and Shardul Thakur were dismissed for 1 run. Because of this, India could not cross 500 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, Karun Nair 20, Ravindra Jadeja 25 and Shardul Thakur were dismissed for 4. This time the team could not give England a target of 400. In the second innings, the team scored 333 for 5.

Factors-2: A poor performance of three bowlers

India's bowling unit could not perform well during the second innings of England on the pitch of the lead. Also, the fourth-fifth bowler's performance in the match was poor. No bowler could bother England batsmen except the Bumrah-famous. Mohammad Siraj and Shardul Thakur took 2-2 wickets and Ravindra Jadeja took a wicket.

Factors-3: Bad fielding, 9 catches left

The main cause of India's defeat was bad fielding. The team left 9 catches in important moments. Six of these catches were released in the first innings, while 3 catches were released in the second innings. Oli Pope and Ben Ducket, who scored a century in the match, got 2-2 survivors. India's ground fielding was also poor.
