Team India has begun preparations for the second Test against England. The team players did a net session at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Friday. This was the first practice session of the players after a 5 -wicket defeat in the lead test. The team led by Shubhman Gill reached the field at 9:15 am and practiced 3 hours.
Bumrah and Famous did not participate Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and renowned Krishna did not participate in the practice session, though they came to the field with the team.
Due to the workload, it is difficult for Jasprit Bumrah to play another Test.
Siraj practiced batting Mohammad Siraj was just studying the bat. He worked on his own technique to leave the ball for about 30 minutes with coach Sitanshu Kotak.
Arshadeep Singh and Akashdeep spoke to the bowling coach Arshadeep Singh and Akash Deep practiced with both bats and balls for a long time. Both were closely inspected by the main coach Gautam Gambhir and the support staff. Arshadeep focused on his run-up, back-foot landing and improving the technique with bowling coach Morne Morkel.
