India's U-19 team defeated England's U-19 team by 6 wickets in the first Youth ODI with 48 runs of Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The England team was all out for 174 runs in 42.2 overs, winning the toss at County Ground Hove.
Kanishka Chauhan took 3 wickets from India. In reply, the Indian team lost 178 for 4 in 24 overs and won the match. Abhidyan Kundu played 45 runs.

Luxury missed half a century Luxury Suryavanshi played 48 off 19 balls with 5 sixes. He scored at a strike rate of 252.63. Vaibhav and Ayush Mhatre together shared 71 for 7.3 overs for the first wicket.
In addition to the luxury, Abhyan Kundu scored 45 off 34 balls with 4 fours and 1 six. Vaibhav also bowled in the first ODI match. Vaibhav had just threw one over in which he gave only two runs.

Andrew Flintoff's son hit Fifty Ishaq Mohammad, who was opening from England, scored a brilliant 42. He hit 3 fours and four sixes in the innings. Andrew Flintoff's son Rocky Flintoff scored the highest 56 from England. He also hit 3 fours and 3 sixes while facing 90 balls.
Kanishka Chauhan took 3 wickets Kanishka Chauhan from India sent 3 English batters to the pavilion. He sent the pavilion to Joseph Moore (9 runs), Ralfi Albert (5 runs) and James Minto (10 runs). Apart from him, Hanil Patel, RS Ambarish and Mohammad Ina took 2-2 wickets. The second Youth One-Day match will be played on June 30.
