Permal Nathwani Renowning as GSFA Chairman: Honorable District and Individuals Honoring Excellent Exhibition; Awards were also awarded in the individual category

The 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Gujarat State Football Association (GSFA), which was found in Ahmedabad, was reinstated as the current president of the organization and Parimal Nathwani, a member of the Rajya Sabha, was re -president for a four -year period. Mulraj Singh Chudasama was re -appointed as the Honorable General Secretary of Chudasama as well as Pradeep Singh Vaghela, Jignesh Patil, Arun Singh Rajput and Vice President of Gunwantbhai Delawala.

In addition, Sandeep Desai was appointed vice -president instead of Hanif Jinwala, while Ankit Patel was elected as a treasurer. At the Annual General Meeting, excellent performers were honored by the District Association and the GSFA Awards. The award has been launched on the lines of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Speaking on the occasion, Parimal Nathwani said, “Our vision of making football accessible, and consistent all over Gujarat is a constant guidance to our efforts. During this year, the participation of the young players of Gujarat has increased, which is a proof of our football ecosystem's profoundness and discipline.

He added, “GSFA deserves congratulations that during 2024-25, 26 different tournaments were organized, a total of 1168 matches were played, and 6468 goals were played. Under the CRS of AIFF, there are a total of 7400 active players, of which 4836 participated in various competitions.”

Different District Football Association received the award The Ahmedabad District Football Association was given the award for registration of the most players. So the Best District Award for organizing the intra-district tournament was overcome to Surat and was awarded the Best Supervisive District Award to Rajkot. The Best Performing Active District Award was received by the Bhavnagar District Football Association. AA Football Club, Ahmedabad and SA, Vadodara, were declared a joint winner as the best performing football clubs under the umbrella of GSFA.

In the individual category, the Football Referee of the Year Award was formed in the Kamani Kamani and Pratik Bajaj in the male category. While the Coach of the Year Award went to Miranda and Salim Pathan in the male category in the female category. This is how Nazbano Sheikh and Kishan Singh were honored with the Emerging Player of the Year Award. While the Best Player of the Year award was given to Tanvi Malani in the women's category and Aman Shah in the male category.
