5 factors behind India's Birmingham Test win: Captain Shubham batted for 92 overs, Siraj-Kash Deep took 17 wickets and turned the match aspect.

India won by 7 wickets on the fifth day in the Birmingham Test against England. For the first time in Test history, the team won in Birmingham. Captain Shubhman Gill wrote the story of this win by scoring a century in both innings. He batted for about 92 overs in the match and scored 430 runs.

The contribution of India's lower rank batters was also more than the first test. In bowling, Akashdeep and Mohammad Siraj pushed English bat on the backfoot. Not only that, Team India's fielders also made more catches in slip this time. Due to which the results came to the team.

1. Captain Shubham scored a century in both innings

Shubhman Gill, who started captaincy in the Test in this series, came to bat on 95/2 in the first innings. The score against him was 211/5, from here he shared a century with Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar. Gill held one end and scored a double century. He scored 269 runs and scored the team to 587 runs.

In the second innings, Gill came to bat on a score of 96/2. This time, Team India, who played a 180 -run lead, had to give England a target. Gill once again played responsible innings and scored 161 runs and crossed the score 400. Gill jointly scored 430 in both innings, causing England to get a huge 608 -run target in the fourth inning.

2. The lower -ranked batters scored more runs

Team India lost the last 7 wickets in the first innings of the first Test while scoring 41 runs and scoring 31 runs in the second inning. Because of this, the team could not give England a big target in the fourth inning, which the England team easily chased. India removed this defect in the Birmingham Test.

In the first innings, India lost the fifth wicket for 211 runs. From here, Ravindra Jadeja scored 89 and shared 203 with captain Shubhman. Washington Sundar then scored 42 and added 144 runs with Gill. The team scored a big score because of the lower rank performance. In the second innings, Jadeja also scored 69 runs and made an important 175 -run partnership with Gill. Because of this, England got a huge target of 608 runs.

England had to bat only 80 overs on the fifth day to draw the match, but on the last day the team lost the first 4 wickets in just 21 overs.
