England all -rounder Chris Vox has revealed his conversation with Rishabh Pant. In an interview to The Guardian, Vox said he apologized to Rishabh Pant for fracture on the toe on the ball during the Test series,
Despite serious injuries during the series, both Vox and Pant became a symbol of courage for their teams. In Manchester, Pant batted with a broken thumb, while during the fifth Test, Vox came to the crease despite a shoulder injury.
Pant was injured in the 68th over on the first day of the fifth Test played in Manchester on July 23. Pant tried to sweep Chris Vox's Yorker a reverse, but the ball rang on his bat and then on his shoes. After this he had to retire. However, when needed, Pant lamed and batted and scored 54 runs. The match ended in a draw.
Vox said-
I saw Rishabh (Pant) posting my photo salute on Instagram with Emoji, so I thanked him and thanked him for his love and hopefully my foot would be good.
Vox said-
Then Pant sent me a voice note, in which he said – hopefully everything would be fine, happy to be healthy and hopefully we will be on the field someday. After this I apologized for the broken leg.
Gill told me- you showed wonderful bravery Vox also said that Indian captain Shubhman Gill praised him when he came to bat in the fifth Test. Walks did not have a chance to face a single ball but he said it was difficult to run between wickets. Vox said, 'Shubhman said that it was a wonderful bravery.'

Vox said, 'I told Gill that you played a wonderful series, showed a wonderful game and your team deserves credit for this. Players from both teams performed brilliantly in this series and they deserve congratulations for such a performance. Of course, both teams wanted to win, but it seems fair that the series remained a draw. '
