The match was between Khulna Tigers and Chittagong Kings. In the first over, West Indies’ Thomas gave 18 runs in this over. However, Khulna Tigers won the match by 37 runs.

How did you get 15 runs in one ball?

Chittagong Kings team was chasing the target of 204 runs. Captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj handed the new ball to Oshane Thomas and gave him the responsibility of bowling the first over. Thomas’s first ball was a no, but Challengers opener Mohammad Naseem Islam could not score any runs on the free-hit.

Thomas also bowled the second no ball, on which Naseem hit a six. Naseem got a chance for a free-hit, but Thomas bowled 2 consecutive wides. After this, Naseem hit a four, but the umpire again called no ball. Thomas could not even complete two balls and Chittagong Kings’ score reached 15. Thomas bowled 12 balls in the first over. He also dismissed Naeem Islam.

2024: Jaiswal had scored 13 runs in one ball

Yashasvi Jaiswal had scored 13 runs on the first ball against Zimbabwe on 14 July. The Indian opener had hit a six on the very first ball of the first over of Sikandar Raza, which was declared invalid (no ball). He got a free hit, on which Yashasvi hit another six. He scored a total of 13 runs with two sixes and one no ball on a legal ball. He became the first batsman in the world to score 13 runs on 1 ball.

2022: 10 runs were scored on one ball in the final of Asia Cup

Pakistan’s opener Mohammad Rizwan had scored 10 runs on the first ball of Sri Lanka’s Dilshan Madushanka in the final match of the Asia Cup on 11 September 2022. Madushanka gave 8 runs from wide and one run from no ball. Also one run came from the bat of Rizwan.

Khulna Tigers won the match by 37 runs

After losing the toss, Khulna Tigers posted a huge score of 203/3. In reply, Chittagong Kings could score 166 runs. Miraj’s team won by 37 runs. Shamim Hussain scored the highest run of 77 runs. Whereas, for Khulna Tigers, Abu Haider Rony took four wickets, while Mohammad Nawaz took two wickets.

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah may be rested in the ODI and T20 series against England. The English team is visiting India just before the Champions Trophy. The team has to play 5 T-20 and 3 ODI series here. This series is starting from 22nd January.
