8 catches in Punjab-Delhi match: DC season highest catcher team; Priyanka was out with stubs' diving catch

In IPL-18, Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 wickets. Batting first at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Punjab lost 8 wickets and scored 206 runs. In reply, the DC achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 5.2 overs.

Missed 8 catches in the match on Saturday. Delhi Capitals became the highest catch team this season. After leaving the catch, Karun Nair hit the six. Tristan Stubs stumped Josh English in the over of Wipraj Nigam.

Priyanka Out from Stubs' diving catch

The first wicket of Punjab Kings fell on the fifth ball of the second over. Mustafizur Rahman throws a short length ball around 136 km per hour. Priyanka Arya was in a hurry while playing bridge shots. The ball went back to the upper edge of his bat. Wicketkeeper Triston Stubs did not take a look at the ball, ran back and fell down and caught a superb catch.

Priyanka Arya was dismissed for 6 off 9 balls. Stubs took his catch.

Two catches were released in 2 overs of English

  • Mohit missed English caught on the last ball of the third over, Josh English got his life. On Mukesh Kumar's length ball, the English wicket came out and played a quick shot on the ground directly. Mohit came from the mid-on and even dive, but the ball slipped out of his hand and went to the boundary. Josh was batting at 8 runs at this time.
  • Mustafizur left the catch in his own bowling Josh English got a second life on the last ball of the fourth over. Mustafizur throws Rahman's second off-cutter ball on the line near the leg stump. English went back and played a straight shot. The ball came back to the bowler. Here Mustafizur tried to catch the ball with his left hand, but the ball slipped his hand.
