Abhishek Bachchan becomes co-owner of European T20 Premier League: Kabaddi-football league also has a team; ETPL will start from 15th July

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has invested money in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL) to be held in partnership with three cricket nations Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.

He has become the co-owner of this league. The league will start from July this year.

When will the league start? The European T20 Premier League is a tournament sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC). In which top players from around the world including Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands will be seen playing. The league will run from 15 July to 3 August 2025. His matches will be held in Dublin and Rotterdam.

Abhishek Bachchan expressed his happiness on joining Abhishek Bachchan has expressed happiness after joining ETPL. He said, 'Cricket is not just a game, it is a platform to bring countries around the world together. ETPL is a platform that will best reflect the growing demand of cricket.

The popularity of the sport will increase with its inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games. I am very excited and grateful for this first of its kind collaboration between the Cricket Boards of Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. CEO of Ireland Cricket Board said that ETPL will prove to be helpful in promoting cricket.

Ireland Cricket Board CEO and ETPL Chairperson Warren Dutrom welcomed Abhishek Bachchan. He said, 'We are delighted to announce that Abhishek Bachchan has become the co-owner of ETPL. His love and passion for the game will help take European cricket to new heights.'

Abhishek also invested in football and kabaddi leagues Even before this league, Abhishek Bachchan has invested in many leagues. He is the owner of Jaipur Pink Panthers, a 2-time champion of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) played in India. He also has a stake in Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League.
