Jasprit Bumrah could win the ICC Player of the Month award for his performance in December. Along with this, ICC has also nominated South African bowler Dan Patterson and Australian captain Pat Cummins. Among women cricketers, India's Smriti Mandhana is also in the race. Annabel Sutherland of Australia and Anne Malaba of South Africa have also been nominated along with her.

While Australian captain Pat Cummins took 17 wickets in 3 Tests against India. Bumrah's performance was good among all the three players, so he can win this award.
Mandhana scored 463 runs India's opening batsman Smriti Mandhana played 9 matches in December and scored 463 runs. He also scored a century against Australia. He then scored 50+ scores in 5 consecutive matches against West Indies. He scored 270 runs in ODIs and 193 runs in T20Is.

Annabelle Sutherland also in the race On the other hand, Annabel Sutherland of Australia took 9 wickets in 5 matches and scored 269 runs. While South African spinner Nonkululeko Malaba took 12 wickets in just 4 matches. Mandhana and Sutherland seem to be at the top of the race to win the award.
