Champions Trophy's Prize Money … Increase: 53% of the prize money increased from last time; Upon becoming a champion will get Rs 19.46 crore

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced prize money for the Champions Trophy 2025 on Friday. The Champions Trophy is set to begin in Pakistan from February 19. Eight countries will participate in this.

This season's champion will get Rs 19.46 crore (US $ 2.24 million) and runner-up Rs 9.72 million (US $ 1.12 million). At the same time, both teams in the semifinals will be given about Rs 4.86 crore. The total prize money of the Champions Trophy is Rs 59.93 crore, which is 53% more than the previous Champions Trophy held in 2017. The total prize money for 2017 was Rs 28.88 crore.

The final will be played on March 9 The tournament, which will be held in the hybrid model, will start from February 19 and run till March 9. There will be 15 matches in 19 days. Reserve Day has also been kept for the second semifinal and final. The group match between India and Pakistan will be played in Dubai on February 23.

India will play all its matches in Dubai, the team's group also includes Bangladesh and New Zealand. A semifinal will also be played in Dubai. If India reaches the final, the match will also be played in Dubai. While the remaining 10 matches of the tournament will be played in Pakistan. The Champions Trophy is being held after 8 years, the last time Pakistan won the title by beating India in the final in 2017.

India will launch a campaign against Bangladesh India is in Group-A. The team's group includes Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand. The second group has Australia, England, South Africa and Afghanistan. Two semifinals will be played on March 4 and 5, while the finals will be played on March 9.
