Colombo Test: Sri Lanka got a 43 -run lead on Bangladesh: Pathum Nisanka on the crease after scoring a century; Bangladeshi Team Allout in 247 runs

Sri Lanka have taken a 43 -run lead against Bangladesh in the second Test series. The team lost two wickets by the end of the second day on Thursday and scored 290 runs. Opener Pathum Nisanka is unbeaten on 146 and Prabhat Jayasuriya 5 runs.

Lahiru liberated 40 runs and Dinesh Chandimal was dismissed for 93. Taizul Islam and Naim Hassan of Bangladesh took one wicket each. Prior to this, the Bangladeshi team was all out for 247 in the first innings.

Bangladesh started playing with a score of 220/8 and lost the last two wickets by scoring 27 runs. Taizul Islam, who started 8 runs, was dismissed for 33. Asita Fernando and Sonal Dinusha took 3-3 wickets from Sri Lanka. Vishwa Fernando got 2 wickets.

Openers' Fifty Partnership After Bangladesh all -out for 247 runs in the first session, the Sri Lankan team started a strong start. Pathum Nisanka and Lahiru liberal pair shared 50+ runs by lunch break. The team's score here was 83/0.

Taizul Islam broke the partnership of Sri Lankan openers. He made a LBW out to Lahiru liberally on a 40 -run score. Nisanka and liberal added 88 for the first wicket.

The third century of Nisanka, a 194 -run partnership with Chandimal After losing the first wicket on 88 runs, Pathum Nisanka shared a century with Dinesh Chandimal and put the Sri Lankan team in a strong position till tea break. He scored 194 off 311 balls with Chandimal. Dinesh Chandimal paid 7 runs. He was dismissed for 93 runs. He was caught out by Litton Das at the ball of Naim Hassan.
