Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanshree Verma have been divorced. The Family Court ruled on the order of the Bombay High Court.
Yuzvendra and Dhanshri were present in the family court in Mumbai. Yuzvendra's lawyer Nitin Gupta has confirmed this.
While hearing Chahal's petition on Wednesday, the Mumbai High Court ordered the family court to give its verdict on March 20. The single bench of Justice Madhav Jamdar said, “Chahal will not be available from March 21 as it is to participate in the IPL.”
According to the Bar & Bench website, the Bombay High Court has also forgiven the 6 -month cooling of period in the case. At the time of the order, the High Court said, “Both of them have been separated for the last two and a half years and there has been talk for a settlement of Rs 4.75 crore.”
Rumors of divorce between Chahal and his wife Dhanshree have been spreading on social media for a long time. However, the official statement from Chahal and Dhanshri has not yet been released.
