Dream 11 has decided to resign as the main sponsor of the Indian cricket team before the Asia Cup 2025. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia gave this information on Monday (August 25).
He said the bill to control online gaming has passed, so BCCI and Dream-11 will no longer be with. BCCI will not be associated with any such (online gaming) company in the future.

Real-money gaming has been banned in the new government law, which affects the main business of Dream 11. Because of this, Dream 11 can terminate sponsorship agreement.
A company like Tata-Reliance can be a new sponsor
Old companies like Tata Group, Reliance and Adani Group are emerging as strong contenders. Tata is already the official sponsor of IPL. Reliance Jio is involved in sports sponsorship and broadcasting rights. Adani Group has also invested in sports enterprises.
67% of the Dream-11's income came from the actual finance department
Dream-11's real money gaming segment accounts for 67% of the company's total revenue, meaning that most of the company's income came from sports like fantasy cricket.
