‘Dressing-room talks should not come out’-Gautam Gambhir

Gambhir opens up on scolding players

Head coach Gautam Gambhir is upset over Team India’s dressing room talks becoming public. The coach said Thursday that communication between players and coaches should be limited to the dressing room. It should not come out. Gambhir tried to hush up the news of tension in the dressing room by saying that these are just reports and there is no truth in them.

A day ago there were reports that coach Gambhir had scolded the Indian players after losing the Melbourne Test. The Sydney Test will be played from January 3. Australia is leading 2-1 in the 5-match series. India have a chance to draw the series in Sydney.

Gautam Gambhir’s stern warning for Team India players:

  • All players know which area to work in. The only conversation we have had with him is how to win a Test match.
  • Discussions between coach and player should be limited to the dressing room.
  • As long as there are honest people in the dressing room, Indian cricket will be in safe hands. Performance alone keeps you in the dressing room.

Aakash Deep injured, Harshit might get a chance

Coach Gambhir first informed about Akash Deep’s injury. He said that the fast bowler has a back injury. On the question of playing-11, he said that the decision of playing-11 will be taken after seeing the pitch. It is believed that Harshit Rana or the famous Krishna could replace the injured Akash Deep. Akash Deep has bowled a total of 87.5 overs in two Test matches. In such a situation, he was injured under workload management.

Gambhir had told the players that he had given them 6 months to play their own way, but now that is over. From now on, any player who does not play according to the plan for the team will be called thank you.
