England lost 4 wickets on the first day of the Lord's Test: if Root scored 99, returned unbeaten with stocks; Nitish Reddy 2 wickets fast

The third Test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy is being played at the Lord's Lord's Stadium in London between India and England. England chose to bat on the first day of the match on Thursday. By the end of the day's game, the team has scored 251 for 4 wickets. The second day will start at 3:30 pm.

Lose 4 wickets within 200 After batting well in the first over of the first session, England lost 2 wickets in a single over of Nitish Kumar Reddy. Reddy sent the pavilion to Jack Crowy and Ben Ducket. Then Oli Pope and Joe Root shared 109 for the third wicket.

Pope Ravindra Jadeja was caught out in the first over of the third session. Even Harry Brook, who was on No.5, did not last long. He was bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, Brook scored 11 runs. The team lost 4 wickets for 172 runs.

1 run away from the route century, Stokes took over responsibility Captain Ben Stokes, who was batting at No. 6, took over the team with Joe Route. Root scored 45 runs and completed 3,000 Test runs against India. He scored his 67th Test Fifty and crossed the team's score 200 runs. Root did not allow Stocks to get more wickets until the end of the day's game. The route remained a knockout for 99 and Stokes 39 for the knockout.
