Pakistan cricket team opening batter Zaman has been dropped from the ODI series of the next three matches against the West Indies. He did not even play in the third T20.
The decision was taken due to an injury to the left hamstring during the second T20 match played in Loderhill. Instead, Khushadil Shah was included in the Playing-11 for the third T20 match.
How was the injury? Fakhr Zaman was injured while fielding in the second T20 match against the West Indies. The team's medical staff then examined it and confirmed his left hamstring.
Rehab will happen in Lahore The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Fakhr would return to Pakistan on August 4. After this, its rehab process will be under the supervision of the PCB Medical Team at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.
The PCB has not yet clarified whether any other player will be included in the team instead of Fakhr for the one-day series.
Pakistan won the first match of the T20 series against the West Indies.
Performance of Fakhr Zaman in the series The 35 -year -old Fakhr got off to a good start in the first two T20 matches but could not turn it into a big score. He scored 28 runs in the first match and 20 in the second.
