Gill arrived to practice alone on Rest Day: Didn't practice one day before due to bad health; Match against team kiwis on Sunday

Indian vice -captain Shubhman Gill arrived alone for practice at the ICC Academy on Thursday. Thursday was Team India's rest day, so she practiced alone. Earlier, Gill did not join the team on Wednesday with a practice session. According to media reports, his health was bad.

However, on Thursday afternoon, Gill practiced for more than two hours. He was accompanied by two Throdown Specialist Raghu and Nuwan and Assistant coach Abhishek Nair. India's next match in the Champions Trophy will be played against New Zealand on Sunday (March 2).

Thursday was a relaxing day for the Indian team. On Wednesday night, the entire team practiced for about three hours. Gill did not reach the field this day. In addition, Rohit Sharma, who was suffering from a hamstring injury, did not attend the batting session.

Rohit came to the field during a practice session on Wednesday but did not attend practice.

Rohit may get rest against New Zealand Rohit was injured in a hamstring while fielding during Pakistan's innings last Sunday. In this case, Rohit can rest in the match against New Zealand to recover from his hamstring injury. India has already fixed its place in the semifinals by beating Pakistan in its first league match and Pakistan in the second league match. Rohit may return from the semifinal match on March 4.
