Metro Timing for IPL Match Special arrangements have been made in the metro service for the IPL match to be held at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. GMRC extends the metro service time to midnight 12:30.
This special service will be available during the match to be held on March 29, April 9, May 2 and May 14 and May 18. In the normal days, the Metro Service, which runs from 6: 20am to 10pm, will run till midnight in the days of the match. After 10pm, only service will be available from Motorra Stadium and Sabarmati Metro Station. Travelers will be able to travel from there to any working station on both metro corridors.
A special paper ticket of Rs.50 has been arranged for the viewers of the match. This special ticket will be valid only after 10pm. The ticket can be purchased from 10 stations including troll cross road, apparel park, Kalupur. Metro will be available every 8 minutes on the match day. Metro will be available every 6 minutes from Motorra and Sabarmati Station from 10 to midnight from 10 to midnight. The service between Motora-Gandhinagar will remain regularly.
Ahmedabad Police Commissioner issued a notification
Some roads have been closed by the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner by issuing a notification. An alternative way has been given for this. The road going from Janpath to Modhera village will be completely closed for transport.
