Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has appealed to the Indian cricket team not to play against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Players like Harbhajan, Captain Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan also refused to play against the Pakistan Champion team at the recently held World Championship of Legends.
Thus, Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Harbhajan said-
Blood and water cannot flow together. Why do we give them so much importance?
The Asia Cup will be played in the UAE. The tournament will begin on September 9. The Indo-Pakistan match will be played on the league stage on September 14. After this, the two teams will hit the Super-4 again. If both India and Pakistan reach the finals, they will be the third time when they face each other.
Harbhajan said in an interview,
The team has to understand what is important and what is not. Soldiers who stand on our borders, whose families do not see them for months, sometimes they give their lives for the country and do not return, their sacrifice is huge for us. Compared to this, not playing a cricket match is a very small thing.
Our brothers are standing on the border- Harbhajan Harbhajan said that our government has the same attitude. When there is tension on the border and the relationship between the two countries is bad, playing cricket is not appropriate. Until these big issues are resolved, cricket is a very small thing. The country always comes first.
Harbhajan also said that our brothers are standing on the border, which is protecting us and the country. Look at their courage, how big they are firm. Imagine how their families will experience when they do not return and we go here to play cricket.
India refuses to play in the World Championship of Legends In the World Championship of Legends (WCL), the India Champions refused to play against the Pakistan Champions in the group stage and the semifinals. The team made the decision after the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

Harbhajan also raised questions on the media
Harbhajan questioned the media and said,
Why do we give them so much importance? Is they so important that every news channel should show them? When we have boycotted them and do not want to talk to them, then why show them here? It is the responsibility of the media that they prevent this and do not put a fire in the fire.
He further said that the players should not join the Pakistani players, and the media should not show them and their reactions on TV. They can say what they want to sit in their own country, but we should not highlight them.
