India now needs 7 wickets to win the match and do the series right. England, on the other hand, need 536 more runs in 90 overs. If India is unable to take 7 wickets, the match can also be drawn. India scored 587 runs in the first innings and England scored 407.
Shubham scored a century on the fourth day
Shubhman Gill scored 269 runs in the first innings and 161 in the second innings.
India started playing with a score of 64/1 on the fourth day. KL Rahul scored 55 and Rishabh Pant 65. After that, Captain Shubhman Gill scored a century. Gill shared 175 runs with Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja scored 69 runs. The team gave a target of 608 runs in the first innings on the basis of a 180 -run lead.
In the second innings of England, Zac Crowley was out without opening an account. He was dismissed by Mohammad Siraj. Ben Ducket was dismissed for 25 runs and Joe Route 6, both Akashdeep sent a pavilion. Oli Pope was a knockout for 24 and Harry Brook was the knockout for 15 runs. Both will take England's innings on the fifth day.
