Ashwin welcomed the new year
Former Indian team spinner Ravichandran Ashwin celebrated the New Year with wife Preeti Narayan on Tuesday. Preeti wrote on Instagram, A dream that you see alone is just a dream. A dream that you have together is a reality. Best wishes for 2025.
Ashwin had recently said goodbye to international cricket. He had announced his retirement after the Gaba test. Ashwin is India’s second most successful bowler in Tests. Ashwin took 537 wickets in 106 Test matches and was just behind former spinner Anil Kumble who took 619 wickets in his Test career.
Bumrah celebrated New Year with wife Sanjana
Indian team’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah also said goodbye to 2024 along with his wife Sanjana Ganesan. He wished the fans a Happy New Year on behalf of his entire family.
The 31-year-old fast bowler has taken 30 wickets in the four matches played so far in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). He is the bowler taking the most wickets in this series so far.
