Shefali Verma scored 941 runs in 12 ODI matches of the Domestic ODI tournament, though she could not comeback.
India has announced the women's team for England tour. A series of 5 T20 and 3 ODI matches will be played between the two teams from June 28. Harmanpreet Kaur will be captain in both formats and Vice-Captain of Smriti Mandha.
Shefali and Harline Out of the One-Day team Shefali Verma did not once again have a chance to the ODI team. He scored 941 runs in 12 matches of the Domestic ODI tournament, but he could not comeback. Harlin Deol was also not included in the ODI team. Both players will play T20. He has replaced Pratika Rawal and Tejal Hasbanis in ODIs.
Shefali Verma was also not selected for the ODI triangular series held in Sri Lanka.
This series will run until July 22 The series will begin on June 28 with the first T20 match between India and England women's team. The match will begin at 7pm according to Indian time in Nottingham. The team will then play the remaining T20 matches on July 1, 4, 9 and 12. All four matches will start at 11pm. 3 ODIs will be played on July 16, 19 and 22. The second match will start at 3.30 pm, while the remaining one-day match will start at 5.30pm.
Both teams busy in preparations for ODI World Cup India and England teams are preparing for the ODI World Cup to be held in India this year. India recently played a triangular series against the host team in South Africa and Sri Lanka. India won the title by beating Sri Lanka in the final, now the team will play a series of both formats in England almost a month and a half.
The England team will face India under the leadership of new captain Natalie Sewar Brunt.
