India's Gukesh defeated the World No.1 player in a chess tournament: Norway's Carlson knocked on the board in anger, saying- 'No one can beat me'

Indian World Champion de Gukesh (World No.-5) defeated World No.1 Magnus Carlson in the sixth round of the Norway Chess tournament. This is the first win against Carlson in Gukesh's classical chess. With this win, 19 -year -old Gukesh Norway Chess has reached third position with 8.5 points in the points table of 2025, while Carlson and US Grandmaster Fabiano are in combination with Carua's 9.5 points.

After the defeat, Carlson punched on a chess board in anger, causing the chess's mohara to disperse. He did not even talk to the media and went.

The first round of the tournament was played between the two. Gukesh defeated World Champion Carlson five times in that match.

Carlson also questioned Gukesh's game Prior to this, after becoming Gukesh's world champion, Carlson said, “I am not playing in the World Championship, there is no one can beat me.”

In response, Gukesh said, 'If I get a chance, I will recognize myself in the chess in front of him'

Gukesh Current World Champion Gekesh won China's Ding Liren by 7.5-6.5 in the final of the World Chess Championship in Singapore in December. Gukesh is the world's first player to win the World Chess Championship at the age of 18. In 1985, Russia's Gary Kasparov won the title at the age of 22.

Gucesh won the title by beating a Chinese player in the 14th game. The championship final began on November 25, with 13 games between the two teams till December 11.

Gukesh also won the chess olympiad Chess Olympiad was held in Budapest last year from September 10 to 23. India became the champion in both the open and the women's category. In the open category, Gukesh won India by winning the final game.

Learn the format of chess Classical, Rapid and Blitz are the format of chess. In the classical game, the maximum time is given to players to think and create a strategy. It is considered to be the most traditional and serious format of chess. This usually gives each player 90 to 120 minutes, and often gets extra time after 40 walks. However, in rapid, the given time is less than 60 minutes and in Blitz, the given time is 10 minutes or less.
