Interview with Torrent Group Director, Managing Director of GT Team: Gujarat Titans uploaded on social media; Sharing the team's performance and experience with the players

Question: Torrent got a majority stake in Gujarat Titans (GT) before the season started. How was your experience throughout the season? Jinnal Mehta: We had a stake before the season started. Since then our trip has been beautiful and exciting. Our family is very enthusiastic about cricket and we look forward to the responsibility of preserving the Gujarat Titans (GT) brand and the beautiful heritage that has raised for the last four years.

Question: What do you say as a team owner, does the team encourage you? Do you have any superstitions or practices related to match? Jinnal Mehta: I do not believe in any superstition or practices before the match or during the match. Our family believes in empowering management, coaching staff and players to make decisions. We want our role as a custodian of the brand GT. We want to advance the team's macro decisions and vision that keeps our fans at the center of everything we do.

Question: How does GT raise emotions or feelings among Gujarati as one of the largest companies in Gujarat and as Gujarati? Jinnal Mehta: It is a matter of fact that the GTA has won the hearts of Gujarati in four years. We have moved very well since the last four seasons. We have entered the playoffs three times with the title won once and the runner up in the second season. Therefore, this importance, this performance, this spirit and Gujarat titles in which the spirit of such a gesture really resonates with the Gujaratis. I think it is very noticeable how GTA has won the minds and hearts of Gujarati.

Question: As you stated, Gujarat has been one of the most consistent teams about the Titans Performance. You may have interacted intimate with the players. How was this experience? Jinnal Mehta: Players are very conscious, focused on them and they bring a lot of energy to the unit. It is very noteworthy to see the way he performed on the field and even outside the field.

Question: Now we know that in 2022, when Gujarat Titans won the championship in the first year you were there. Would this have been a very exciting experience? Jinnal Mehta: Yes, that was. So I saw the 2022 final and that achievement was really special because it was the first season of Titans in which they played against nine other teams, of which eight teams were already installed. So the achievement was even more special because it was their opening season in which they played against very well -established teams.

Question: Everyone in the cricket world knows that Gujarat is really proud of what we do on the Titans and outside the field. And we have the most wonderful atmosphere and at the same time Relax. What do you say where this idea originated, especially from the point of view of the fans? Jinnal Mehta: I think the team has a great energy, great enthusiasm, a great bond. And it really results in performances on the field. This team spirit that exists and everyone is working for team purposes, actually appears in the performance of the field. And I think something is something that GT has done exceptionally.

Question: This has been a wonderful season for us. What do you want to say to our Titans family, to our wonderful Titans family, who have really given us a lot of love and support, not only in Ahmedabad, but even when we go to play outside Gujarat, only fans of Gujarat Titans?
