Jay Shah meets Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach: Efforts to include cricket in 2032 Olympics; Meeting on 30 January

ICC President Jay Shah has met International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach over the inclusion of cricket in the Brisbane 2032 Olympics. The IOC session is scheduled to meet on January 30 at the Olympic House in Lausanne, Switzerland.

On Tuesday, the ICC posted a photo of Jai Shah on social media. In which ICC wrote, 'Efforts are on to include cricket in the Olympics. Jay Shah met IOC President Thomas Bach in Lausanne, Switzerland this week.'

Jay Shah also met the CEO of Cricket Australia last month Jay Shah was in Brisbane during the third Test between India and Australia, when he called for cricket to be included in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. Jai Shah also met Olympic Organizing Committee chief Cindy Hook and Cricket Australia (CA) CEO Nick Hockley.

It's an exciting time for the sport as we prepare for the LA28 Olympic Games, Jai Shah said then. Together we are working to make cricket more attractive to fans around the world.
