Karnal wins the last over: Hardik-Tilak's mischievous innings went in vain, RCB beat Mi in Wankhede after 10 years

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won a thrilling win by 12 runs against the Mumbai Indians with the spinners' brilliant bowling in the middle over. The team has managed to beat Mumbai at its home ground Wankhede Stadium after 10 years. The team last won in the 2015 season.

On Monday, Mumbai won the toss and chose to bowl. Bengaluru scored 221 for 6 in 20 overs. In reply, Mumbai was able to score 209 for 9 in 20 overs. Karnal Pandya took 4 wickets from Bangalore. Meanwhile, captain Rajat Patidar scored 64 runs and Virat Kohli scored 67. Karnal Pandya took 4 wickets in bowling.

Captain Rajat Patidar was selected as Player of the Match. He scored 64 off 32 balls at a strike rate of 200. The innings include 5 fours and 4 sixes. Rajat shared 48 off 31 balls with Virat Kohli. Subsequently with Jitesh Sharma, he shared 69 off 27 balls and took the team's score 200. Based on this score, the Bengaluru team managed to put pressure on Mumbai.

1. Virat Kohli: After losing Phil Salt's wicket on 4 runs, he shared an important 91 off 5 balls with Devdatta Palik. He also added 48 runs with Rajat Patidar after Padikal was dismissed. He scored 67 off 42 balls with 8 fours and two sixes.

2. Devdatta Palikal: After losing the first wicket for 4 runs, he came to bat and took the innings with Virat Kohli. The two shared 91 runs. Padikal scored 37 off 22 balls at a strike rate of 168.18. He hit 2 fours and 3 sixes.

3. Jitesh Sharma: A strike rate of 210.53 scored an unbeaten 40 off 19 balls. He added 69 off 27 balls with Rajat Patidar. With the help of this run, Bangalore's team managed to give a target of 222 runs.

4. Krunal Pandya: Kranal he gave 4 wickets in 4 over quota 4 wickets fast. He turned the water on the hope of a Mumbai return by catching Kohli's hand in the 10th over. He then saved 19 runs in the last over and took 3 wickets.

Captain Hardik Pandya and Tilak Verma were the Fighter of the Match. The pair shared a fiery 89 off 34 balls for the fifth wicket. At one time, Mumbai needed 52 runs in 4 overs. From here Mumbai looked like winning. But on 188 runs, Tilak Verma was out with 56 off 29 balls. After Tilak's dismissal, Hardik Pandya also scored 42 off 15 balls.

Tilak Verma's wicket match proved to be the turning point in the 18th over. Because, when Tilak was out, Mumbai needed 34 off 14 balls. Tilak and Pandya shared 89 off 34 balls. Phil Salt caught Tilak out in the bowling of Bhubaneswar Kumar.

The wicket was good for batting. We missed 2 big hits once again. I don't know what else to say. Bowling was difficult. If 12 runs were less then the result would be different. Tilak played a wonderful innings. Powerplay was very important, then there were no runs in the next few overs. Which was the reason to stay behind in the run chase.
