Khwaja's double century against Sri Lanka in Galle Test: Smith-Englis scored a century, Declar at Australian Innings 654/6; Sri Lanka 44/3

Australia's batter Usman Khwaja scored a double century in the Cheek Test against Sri Lanka. He played 232 off 352 balls on Thursday on the second day of the first Test. Apart from Khwaja, Steve Smith scored a 141 -run century and Josh English scored 102 runs.

Australia declared the first innings on a score of 654/6 based on Khwaja, Smith and English innings. At the end of the day's game, Sri Lanka scored 44 for 3.

Australia started playing with a score of 330/2 in the morning. On behalf of the team, Travis Head contributed 52 runs and Alex Kerry contributed 46 unbeaten runs. Jeffrey Wanders from Sri Lanka got two wickets and Prabath Jayasuriya got one wicket.

Opening partnership of 92 runs between head-to-head Australia won the toss and decided to bat. The team scored 330/2 in the first innings on the first day. The two shared 92 runs. The partnership was broken by Prabath Jayasuriya. He caught Travis Head at Chandimal's hand. After that, Marnas Labushen, who was batting, was dismissed for 20 runs. He was caught at the hands of Geoffrey Vendrus at De Silva.

Fourth Australian to score 10 thousand runs Smith scored 1 run on the first day of the match and scored 10,000 runs. Smith achieved the figure in 205 innings. Smith became the 15th Better in the world to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket. He has become the fourth batter of Australia. Earlier, former captain Ricky Ponting (13378 runs), Alan Border (11174 runs) and Steve Waugh (10927 runs) have achieved the feat.
