Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis can join Gujarat Titans (GT). According to the report, Mendis is likely to replace Jose Butler of England. However, no official statement has been made from Gujarat yet.
Butler will not be available for the IPL playoff match due to the ODI series starting May 29 against the West Indies.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals (DC) has included Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman as a replacement. It will replace the opener Jack Fraser Magark. Magark will not come to India for the rest of the current season. The franchise has signed a Rs 6 crore agreement with Rahman, but the agreement seems to be in trouble.

The remaining IPL match is set to begin on May 17, while Bangladesh has to play two T20 matches in the UAE on May 17 and 19. The team will then play 5 matches against Pakistan on 25, 27 and 30 May, 1 and June 3. Mustafizur has also left for the UAE with the team.
