Mumbai Indians suffered a third defeat in four matches due to poor batting in the death over. Lucknow beat Mumbai by a 12 -run margin at Ek's Stadium. Mitchell Marsh scored 60 and Eden Markram scored 53. Hardik Pandya took 5 wickets from Mumbai.

Digesh Rathi, who bowled in the middle over, took 1 wicket for just 21 runs in 4 overs. Due to his bowling, Lucknow did not let Mumbai achieve a target of 204 runs. Digvesh also took a big wicket of Naman Dhir.
