India's star Javelin Thrower Neeraj Chopra took first place in the Golden Spike Meet on Tuesday. He is ranked number-1 for the second consecutive tournament. Neeraj took first place in the Paris Diamond League on June 20 6 days ago.

In the tournament held at the Czech Republic (Austra) on Tuesday night, Neeraj threw 85.29 m and took first place. South Africa's Dove Smit (84.12 m) finished second with personal best performance and Granada's Anderson Peters (86.63 m) third. Neeraj is currently on the continental tour of World Athletics. Nine players participated in the tournament. He also won the Paris Diamond League in 2016.
