India’s star badminton player PV Sindhu is going to get married. She will tie the knot with Hyderabad-based Venkat Dutta Sai in Udaipur on December 22. Venkat is the executive director at Posidex Technologies.
Sindhu’s father PV Raman said in Lucknow on Monday night – ‘Both the families knew each other but everything was decided a month ago. This was the only possible time because her (Sindhu’s) schedule is going to be very busy from January onwards.’

Sindhu’s father said, ‘That is why both the families decided to hold the wedding ceremony on December 22. The reception will be held on December 24 in Hyderabad. She will start her training soon, as the next season is going to be very important.’ The wedding related events will start from December 20.
Sindhu is the first shuttler to win double Olympic medal
29-year-old Indian star PV Sindhu won the title of Syed Modi International Badminton Tournament on Monday night. She defeated China’s Wu Luo Yu 21-14, 21-16. Sindhu won a title after 2 years and 4 months. She won her last title in July 2022.
The Indian star had said – ‘This victory will increase my confidence. Being 29 years old is beneficial for me in many ways. I have a lot of experience. I will definitely play for a few years.’
