Sachin Tendulkar's painting at the MCC Museum of Lords: Painting from an 18-year-old photo, Sachin said- This is the moment of honor for me

Before the third Test match between India and England began, a special painting of cricket giants Sachin Tendulkar was inaugurated at the famous Marylebon Cricket Club (MCC) Museum at Lord's.

This painting is created by Artist Stewart Pearson Wright, which is designed on a photo. He took this photo at Sachin's house about 18 years ago. The painting will be in the MCC Museum until the end of this year, after which it will be installed in the historic pavilion of the Lord's.

This is a great honor for me – Tendulkar On this occasion, Tendulkar said, “This is a great honor for me.” When India won the World Cup in 1983, I first saw the lords. I saw our captain Kapil Dev taking the trophy, and from there my cricket journey began. Today when my painting is installed in the Lord's Pavilion, it seems that my trip is now completed. When I miss my career, a smile comes on my face. This moment is very special.

The special thing about this painting is that it is not full-length like previous paintings; Instead it is only made on Sachin's head and shoulders.

I made it a new way – Stuart Right Artist Stuart Wright said, MCC didn't want this painting to be as before, so I adopted a new method. I focused on Sachin's face and made the painting bigger so that he looked 'like a hero'. He further said that I have always kept the background easy so that the focus is only on the person. This painting is for Sachin Tendulkar's long and elegant career.

Made from rivet aluminum The painting release states that as the work on the painting progressed, the artist modified it and finally prepared as an oil picture on abrasive aluminum. Its background is abstract, showing Sachin's old batting. Earlier, Kapil Dev, Bishan Singh Bedi and Dilip Vengsarkar have made pictures.

This program has been going on for the last 30 years The MCC's “Lord's Portrait Program” has been running for the last 30 years, but the MCC began collecting art and historical items in the 1950s. The MCC Museum is the oldest sports museum in Europe. The “Long Room Gallery” is considered to be the most historic gallery in the sports world. The MCC has about 3,000 photographs, of which about 300 portraits.
